These instructions apply to NEW and Existing customers.  Before you begin, please take note of the following:

According to Federal Law, property owners or renters are responsible for repair and maintenance of all wiring inside the home.


If your phone rings when you call it from another phone but you have no dial tone in your home, please follow these instructions BEFORE YOU CALL MTI:

1.  Unplug everything from all of the jacks in your home (telephones, fax machines, computers, etc.) and wait 30 minutes.                                                                       2.  Plug a regular old fashioned phone (not a cordless) into every jack until you find the dial tone.

                                                                                                      If you do not find a dial tone at any of the jacks, locate the Network Interface Box on the outside of your home.  If you live in an apartment building please contact the apartment manager for assistance.  Once you have located the box, open it and plug a phone into the jack(s) inside.  If you still do not find a dial tone (or even if you do) please call customer service at (877) 567-3722 or click here to submit a trouble ticket.
